PopGoesTheNews.com Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg is coming back to Toronto, a city he knows very well.
As first reported at @jrkm_pop on Nov. 29, Wahlberg will be in the city on Dec. 5. He will be on the CIBC trading floor to help raise funds for children's charities on CIBC Miracle Day.
Wahlberg is no stranger to Toronto, having made several movies here since the late '90s: The Big Hit, The Corruptor, Four Brothers and Max Payne. He regular guest at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he premiered Boogie Nights in 1997.
The Entourage executive producer is also a close friend of former Toronto Maple Leaf star Tie Domi and reportedly bought a condo in the Yorkville neighborhood.
Wahlberg arrives in Toronto, coincidentally, just days after The Funky Bunch performed at the Century Room. He fronted the dance act in the early 90s after quitting New Kids on the Block (who replaced him with Joey McIntyre), spawning the smash hit "Good Vibrations."
