PopGoesTheNews.com >> Superstar Britney Spears landed in Toronto aboard a private jet late this afternoon, just hours before the first of two concerts at the Air Canada Centre -- and PopGoesTheNews.com was there!The Circus performer arrived from New York at around 5:30 pm wearing high heel shoes, black pants and a grey top with a bright pink handbag over her shoulder. Her two children were not with her. Spears and her entourage immediately boarded a tour bus and set off -- with an Ontario Provincial Police escort -- for the downtown core. Her bodyguard rode in a black SUV that followed the bus.
The bus carrying Spears drove past a crowd of fans already lined up for tonight's concert and directly into the underground garage at the ACC.
About an hour earlier, PopGoesTheNews.com was at Pearson International Airport to exclusively greet a famous face who flew in from London for the shows (check back later this week to find out who).
Spears performs again tomorrow night and then heads for Montreal for a concert at the Bell Centre.

UPDATE: Shortly after 11 pm tonight, Spears was escorted (again by an OPP cruiser) to the Hazelton Hotel in Yorkville. Security was tight as the singer was brought into the building via the underground garage.
