TORONTO (PGN) >> The touring revival of the classic musical My Fair Lady had its official opening gala last night at the Toronto Centre for the Arts.Christopher Cazenove, who is best known as Ben Carrington on Dynasty, plays Dr. Henry Higgins opposite British stage actress Lisa O’Hare as Eliza Doolittle. Her six-month run in the title role of the London production of Mary Poppins ended last May.
Also on stage is Marni Nixon, 78, who lent her singing voice to Audrey Hepburn in the movie version of My Fair Lady – as well as to Natalie Wood in West Side Story and Deborah Kerr in The King and I. She will be at the Indigo store in the Manulife Centre tomorrow at noon to sign copies of her memoir, I Could Have Sung All Night: My Story.
